The Company’s Comprehensive Compliance Program is consistent with (i) the recommendations set forth in “Compliance Program Guidance for Pharmaceutical Manufacturers” published by the Office of Inspector General, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, (ii) the provisions of the Code on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals created by the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (“PhRMA Code”) and (iii) the requirements of Sections 119400 and 119402 of the California Health and Safety Code. The goal of the Company’s Comprehensive Compliance Program is to maintain a culture that promotes the prevention, detection and resolution of potential violations of law or Company policy.
